Expanding on Beginning Entomology of Fly Anglers, this class will focus on the group of aquatic insects known as stoneflies. We will learn about behavior, lifestyles, and how to recognize the common families in Maine. We will look at both preserved and live specimens to think about how to choose flies to best imitate relevant stages of this insect.
