Traditional Chinese Medicine has treated illnesses and discomforts using the body’s energy channels, called meridians. These align with the five natural elements of Wood, Water, Earth, Metal, and Fire. This dancing practice will teach you where to find these channels and how they relate to your body’s internal and emotional health.
Susan Roberts, occupational therapist and author of Sustainable Health: Simple Habits to Transform Your Life, has worked with people of all ages and abilities. She studied indigenous healing rituals at Harvard Divinity School and qigong with Grandmaster Nan Lu at the Tao of Healing Center in New York City. She has taught at Eastern Kentucky University, New York Institute of Technology, and with a variety of professional continuing education companies.
